April 2004 : Viasakhi

As part of the 2004 Viasakhi celebations a Nagar Kirtan was held, where the Guru Granth Sahib Ji was taken in a procession to each of the six Gurdwaras in Bradford. The procession started from the Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurdwara on Wakefield Road, Bradford 4.

These pictures show part of the procession.

At the head of the procession were the Panj Pyarey (five beloved ones).

They were followed by the members of the Bradford Sikh community.
