Kirtan and Music Classes

Path and Kirtan Classes

The Sukhmani Path and Kirtan classes are held every Thursday from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm.

These classes are aimed at adults who wish to learn how to perform Path infront of the Sangat.

Music classes

The music classes teach how to play the harmonium and the tabla. Both these instruments are used to accompany the Kirtan during religious services to play the raga (or tune) of the shabad.

Harmonium Class

The Harmonium classes for women and children are held every Wednesday from 7:00 pm until 8:30pm in Lower Music Room.

On Sunday 21st Novemeber, this class recited Kirtan to the sangat. This is a short 2 minute Windows Media video clip of this recital.

Tabla Classes

The tabla classes are held every Wednesday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. in the Upper Diwan Hall.
