Sikhism for Children
WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa, WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh.
The Sikhism class is for children aged 5 and above. The class is in English and aims to teach the basic beliefs of Sikhism, the teachings of the Gurus and provide opportunities to learn shabads from the Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
The class is held every Wednesday from 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm and there is no need to enrol - all you have to do just go to the Gurdwara on a Wednesday and join in.
Occasionally, special Gurmat Camps are organized where children are divided into groups based on their age and spend all day at the Gurdwara attending workshops in Sikhism with some time set aside for other activities. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other children as well as learn more about Sikhism. Further details about the last Gurmat Camp can be found in Events and News
